About & Estate History
Sinhapitiya Estate, Gampola, situated in the midlands of Sri Lanka where the soil is lush and the climate is perfect for growing spices, tea and coffee.
Since the year 1824, Sinhapitiya Estate has carried with it, the legacy of being the first coffee plantation in Ceylon under the father of Ceylonese planting, George Bird. Nearly 200 years later, we are going back to our Sri Lankan roots by applying ancestral planting wisdom in our brand of agriculture in this mystical island paradise.
Explore our artisanal teas, hand-picked and small-batch crafted for rich, authentic flavor. From delicate greens to bold blacks, find a blend for every mood and moment.
Season your dishes with our organically grown spices, cultivated without chemicals and harvested by hand to deliver vibrant, natural flavor and aroma to every meal.
Savor our heritage coffee, sourced from time-honored estates and carefully roasted to preserve rich aroma and deep, full-bodied flavor in every single cup you brew.
